That’s right; in just FOUR days time, GTI take to the stage for our first show of the Autumn. We’ll be one half of a bill along with Do Not Adjust Your Stage, who are excellent.

Alan Marriott – founder of Grand Theft Impro, Alan is now back in the UK after nearly a decade back in his native Toronto. Alan is a voice-over maestro, was in The Reduced Shakespeare Company, brought Theatresports  to London and devised or co-devised Hamlet Improvised, The Impro Musical and Impropera. He has just returned in triumph  from London’s famous Edinburgh Festival, where he produced and performed in two shows; Will Shakespeare’s Improvised Musical and Beauty and the Beast.

Lauren Shearing is a cast member of the Olivier-award winning improv group ‘Showstopper! The Improvised Musical’. She has guested with ‘Austentatious: An Improvised Jane Austen Novel’, and the Comedy Store Players’. Lauren also performs in the two-person improv show ‘Breaking & Entering’ with Maria Peters. Together they co-founded ‘The Playground’, one of London’s leading improv comedy nights, which showcases new female talent as well as bringing together some of the most experienced improvisers in the country.
