This Friday at 8pm, GTI’s festive gift to you is an unholy trinity of badass guest stars. Ladies and gentlemen, please be upstanding* for Holly Mandel, Nell Mooney and Ruth Bratt!
*Thank you for standing. As a reward, we have lots of seats, just for you, at The Wheatsheaf, 25 Rathbone Place, W1T 1JB (nearest tubes: Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus). Friday 16th December at 8pm. £5.50 tickets available in advance HERE.
Holly Mandel defies words. She’s an alumna of LA’s world-renowned improv and sketch comedy theatre The Groundlings, she’s the mastermind behind New York’s Improvolution and she’s setting fire (figuratively speaking) to comedy brains the world over with her Good Girls Aren’t Funny talks and workshops. Basically, she’ll blow your mind and then stick it back together in a much funnier order.
Ruth Bratt defies belief. Star of Olivier Award-winning West End hit Showstopper, she co-wrote and starred in BBC Radio 4’s Trodd en Bratt Say Well Done You and her TV credits include People Just Do Nothing, Mongrels and Derek. She is a regular guest with The Comedy Store Players and a veteran of improvathons in London and Canada. Her laugh is without doubt the most joyful sound you will ever hear.
Nell Mooney defies defiance itself. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade in the US and has worked in London with the likes of Showstopper, The Free Association and Monkey Toast. Her screen credits include Hyde Park on Hudson, Enchanted and Law & Order. She sings like an angel, dances like a god and is funny as hell. In the event of a power cut, her dazzlingly perfect teeth will light the room.
