The tricky second show
We have got a couple of comedic wonders to join us for the next show on May 12th at 8:30pm – Phil Pellew and Lauren Shearing.
Phil is a member of the Olivier-winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. His special abilities include stage combat, winter outdoor swimming and home defence planning for zombie apocalypses.
Lauren is half of impro duo Breaking and Entering and also performs with the Showstoppers. She has been improvising ever since she escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, she survives as a soldier of fortune. We wanted her for this gig. And no one else could help.
They will be joined by GTI regulars Phil Whelans (the bald funny one) and Dylan Emery (the bearded one who will show up scant moments before the show starts due to another commitment. Please bring items to throw at him).
What: Grand Theft Impro, an evening of sketches and songs, all made up on the spot, based on audience suggestions.
Where: Upstairs at The Wheatsheaf, 25 Rathbone Place, 5 mins walk from Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street tubes
How much: £7 on the door, or £5.50 online (www.grandtheftimpro.com/tickets).
