This Thursday…

11 June 2015

…why not gaze lovingly* at Ruth Bratt – yes that Ruth Bratt -, Mark Dawson  – yes that Mark Dawson -, and Andrew Pugsley – no that Andrew Pugsley – as they join GTI’s Phil Whelans – yes a Phil Whelans – for an evening of either high stakes poker or impro.

The Wheatsheaf,
25 Rathbone Place,
London W1T 1JB. (Tottenham Court Road tube)

Tickets: £5.50 online at grandtheftimpro.com/tickets or £7 on the door.

Ruth Bratt – Star of The Showstoppers, Ricky Gervais’s DerekFast and Loose, Mongrels and her own BBC Radio 4 series Well Done You with Trodd en Bratt.

Mark Dawson – founder and artistic director of Gonzo Moose and has appeared in all four of their Shows – with, among others, Cariad Lloyd and Seamus Allen – which is how we know him.) He’s also performed at street festivals and cabarets from the Shetlands to Glastonbury and Hampton Court to the Barbican. He’s appeared in a ballet adaptation of A Christmas Carol and been a stuntman in short film, The Deal. Telly includes The IT Crowd, Teachers, Casualty and The Other Boleyn Girl.

Andrew Pugsley is, like Ruth, one of The Showstoppers. He’s also in Panthercannon like Ruth. He sometimes turns round when you shout “Ruth.” He played Thomas Wintour in The Penny Dreadfuls’ Guy Fawkes (BBC Radio 4) narrowly winning the part after he and Ruth Bratt got down to the last two.

* Will also accept resentment, mild arousal or pity.
